It was with great sadness that we at The North Cork Physiotherapy & Acupuncture Clinic learnt of the passing of Imelda O’Leary.
Imelda founded The North Cork Physio Clinic in 1992. She graduated from UCD in 1984. She spent some time in America as a Physiotherapist to the American Football team, San Francisco 49ers. She returned to her native Mallow in 1992 where she opened her own practice here in Fair Street and built a fantastic reputation. She took a break in 2008 after an illness.
Imelda’s vivacious zest for life was tangible and patients will remember her exuberance, energy and fun. A sports fanatic whether it was Man Utd or on horseback.
Imelda will always be a part of this clinic and remembered for her tremendous energy and enthusiasm for life.
May she Rest in Peace.
